Know your purpose
Know your purpose. You'd be amazed by what kind of giant strides you can make easily, and without any effort, when you know your purpose. Now, on the contrary, when you don't know your purpose, well, how could you make any progress?
Obviously, even if you're moving, it doesn't mean you're making progress-unless you are moving toward something specific.
So know your purpose. It's the touchstone; it's the tuning fork of everything.
Every single question that will ever come up in your life is subordinate to knowing your purpose. What is it you were put on this Earth to do? And I'm not being facetious, I'm not joking. I'm saying, ask yourself that exact question. "What is it I was put on Earth to do?" "What is it that I was put on Earth to do?"
And I suggest that right now, if you don't know-and you very well may not-that you find out. But then again, you're in the achiever's crowd, or you wouldn't even be reading this message. You very well may know, as I do, what you were put on Earth to do. I know exactly what I was put on Earth to do.
And it's a thing that you get to co-create! That's the thing.
You don't only have to ask and receive some kind of answer; you get to be active and co-create. For instance, if you have a strong, intense interest in music and you've got the capacity and musical ability, you might forget about getting a regular job-like they say, a 9-to-5'er. And you might give it everything you've got in the music business.
Same thing if you feel that way about writing, same thing if you feel that way about real estate, marketing, anything! I'm not here, ever, to tell you what to do-I'm here to tell you how to do, to share those things.
So here's the whole story on that, really-o and truly-o. If and when you know your purpose, then you can ask yourself at any time, "Am I on purpose?" For instance, let me give you a section close to my heart, being a writer.
Okay, now I'm going to be a writer-but is it just any kind of writer?
No, it's not just any kind of writer; I'll be a success/quantum. That's it.
Now, I know when I'm working on that, like I'm doing with this audio segment I'm dictating that will eventually become a written article, boom-I'm in synch!
Now, let's say I were to consider taking a job doing technical writing, telling people how to assemble desks that some company out in Outer Mongolia or Latin America is manufacturing, that we're importing into the U.S. to sell.
If I were to take a job writing those construction manuals and assembly instructions, even though I continued as a writer, I would not be in synch, I would not be on purpose, now would I? That's how important it is.
Decide on your purpose. Yes, decide. Yes, pray. Yes, meditate. Yes, ask for divine spiritual guidance. The whole issue is... This is life. You are the "E" of the E = mc2 formula, the Inner Eagle, the creative spirit. You have to take your position in this game to win it.
Ask for guidance and decide. And then go out and create the life that you and gave you to create in your most inspired moments!
