Kohl Center Event Tickets - Why Wisconsin Is About More Than Cheese

Wisconsin may be a winter wonderland in February

, but you'd better bet basketball fans will be inside watching NBA and NCAA basketball games rather than bundled up engaging in some winter sports outside! Whether they are cheering on the state's resident NBA team, the Milwaukee Bucks, or rooting for their favorite Big Ten basketball team, it is all about hoops in Wisconsin in February!

Some of the most thrilling NCAA matchups will take place at Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin, which is why fans will be purchasing tickets online.

The Milwaukee Bucks will host the Detroit Pistons at Milwaukee's Bradley Center on Feb. 9, and these two teams are vying to be the best in the Central division so it is sure to get heated. The Bucks will be fervently defending their home turf, as the Pistons have been showing promise thus far into the playoff chase thanks to first-year coach John Kuester. The Bucks lost to the Pistons during the two teams' first match up of the season in Motor City on Dec. 4, with Detroit beating Milwaukee 105-96, so they will be hungry for a win this time around. The Pistons shouldn't get too cocky, however, as the Bucks' high-scorer Brandon Jennings has been averaging 21.1 points per game this season. Fans of both teams are sure to turn up for this exciting NBA matchup!

Also on Feb. 9, Kohl Center, home of the University of Wisconsin Badgers, will host Illinois. The Badgers' losses have been few and far between thus far into the season, but the Fighting Illini have had a strong season as well, which means that anything can happen when these two Big Ten teams hit the hardwood.

Wisconsin is in good hands with coach Bo Ryan, the third coach in Wisconsin's history to win 200 games with the program, but will have to contend with Illinois' high-scorers Demetri McCamey and Mike Davis nonetheless. Last season, the Badgers were able to net a winning record in the Big Ten despite not having their best season, and they are sure to use their home court advantage to propel them a step closer to the Big Dance.

Just days after facing off against the Fighting Illini, the Wisconsin Badgers will have a new team to compete against: the Indiana University Hoosiers. The Hoosiers are heading to the University of Wisconsin's Kohl Center on Feb. 13 for the first face-off of the season between these two Big Ten teams. While Big Ten basketball is typically dominated by Ohio State, Iowa and Illinois, both Wisconsin and Indiana have been moving up the ranks lately, which means fans will be turning up to cheer on their team in the race for the conference title.

The Hoosiers are coming back from a tough 2008-09 season, but freshman Maurice Creek has emerged as the team's top scorer, when means the Badgers will be keeping him heavily guarded during the game! Be there to watch all the action in person!
