Lady Gaga Tickets - Gaga Sleeps In The Back Of The Bus For A Night

The life of a pop star can be an awfully comfy one

. Every luxury you can dream of, from food to accommodations, can be provided for you. For a lot of pop stars, this leads to a kind of disconnect from reality. Maybe that's why recording artist Lady Gaga gave up on the comfy hotel room a few nights back and opted for the back of her touring bus instead.

Stuff of New Zealand notes that while Gaga was recently on tour in the U.K., she decided to sleep on her bus rather than get out and join her crew in a London hotel after performing at LG Arena. Apparently, Lady Gaga was booked to lodge at the Dorchester, a rather posh and well-known place, where many fancy suites had been taken out for her benefit as well as that of her entourage. While they got off the bus to rest up, the pop singer insisted on staying in the back. The driver tried to persuade her to leave, but after some failed attempts at coaxing, drove to a supermarket parking lot and let her sleep there.

An anonymous source told The Daily Mirror that "all Gaga's luggage - about 20 laminated boxes and suitcases - were dropped off at the Dorchester with her crew at about 3 a.m. And 15 minutes later, the driver, one of her entourage and Gaga's security guy got back on the bus and drove off, hitting the West Cromwell Road Tesco's at about 3:30 a.m. They went down a ramp to park next to Alicia Keys' coach. Alicia had checked into her hotel, but Gaga got them to turn off the ignition and bedded down for the night."

Strange? True. But consider the individual in question - a young woman who isn't exactly known for her down to earth demeanor. On the contrary, she has raised a lot of eyebrows by wearing outrageous clothes created by some of the most creative designers in the fashion industry. She's always one to cause a flurry of attention, but this time she just wanted to be on her own and away from prying eyes and the comforts of her pop star life.

Later that morning, Gaga apparently had a bag of food and her security guard get on the bus and then was driven over to a recording studio for work. Quoted the same source: "Maybe Gaga wanted the first batch of fresh hot croissants."

That would be one way to get them. You can always camp out front of the supermarket and get the baked goods just as they've come out of the oven. But if you're that wealthy and famous, you could probably have fresh ones made for you whenever you want, too.
