Land Rover helps out during the cold snap

The British company, Land Rover, works with several emergency services including, the police, and ambulance teams across the country. Land Rover supplies a quarter of the global aid agency market and is involved in several important conservation programmes worldwide. These conservation programmes are hugely beneficial to local communities around the world. Without the use of Land Rover vehicles some of the rescue missions or emergency operations in the UK as well as worldwide would not be possible.

This year to help the London Ambulance service Land Rover has loaned out two Land Rover Discover 4 models. These vehicles will help stranded employees get to work, which will help keep the ambulance service running. As well as these two vehicles, Land Rover over the years has also loaned out several Land Rover Defenders in Kent.

CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, Dr Ralf Speth, said during the hand over the keys "When winter road conditions become treacherous, there is one manufacturer that the emergency services turn to - Land Rover. For many years, we have provided local police, ambulance services and recovery agencies with the loan of our vehicles to aid their work when faced with poor driving conditions. Land Rover vehicles offer the best in all terrain capability, making them the ideal vehicles for these winter conditions."

Land Rover is very proud of its heritage and history; it has over 60 years of experience developing supremely capable utility vehicles that consist of four-wheel drive and pioneering technology such as Terrain Response, which help ensure peace of mind when travelling in snow and icy conditions.
