Rug making is a great way to pass the time. Working on a rug pattern is something that you can do to keep yourself productive even while you're resting. It's an undemanding hobby because you can work on it when you can. This means you can work on it when you really want to. It's definitely not a chore. Just keep your materials in a box you can store in your drawer or closet. When you feel like it, you can work on it again. If you want, you can finish half then allow your kids to finish the rest.
