LeBron James, a Master Marketer? If you are a sports fan or not, you could not but help to get involved or be part of the whole LeBron James ordeal. But how is LeBron James a Master Marketer? Isn't he a basketball player?

Although the odds that you and I can generate the kind of media attention that James has been able to generate is slim, we can take a lesson from this and learn how to make a multiple 6 or 7 figure income working from home.

Although LeBron James is a basketball player he is also a Master Marketer , he has become his own brand, he is a product that due to his talents has been able to monetize and become a multi millionaire.

If you're an aspiring internet marketer or are currently an internet marketer (home based business owner) you well know that TRAFFIC = LEADS= SALES. Well, James has become a Master at this. In his recent TV Special that aired on Thursday July 9th James was able to generate 7.3 rating.

"ESPN said James program "The Decision," that announced he is leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers, his longtime team, for the Miami Heat pulled a Nielsen preliminary 7.3 household rating, the best non-NFL programming rated show this year.

Fifteen minutes into the broadcast -- between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m., when James made his announcement -- the ratings climbed to a 9.6 rating." Media Daily News

With his kinds of ratings or in other words "traffic" advertiser were paying thousands to be able to air their commercials in front of the millions of viewers that were going to watch the anticipated special. James probably made a pretty penny during this special.

But the question is, what can we learn from this?

You see, the only reason that James is able to generate that much media attention is because of his percieved value. But how does he increase his value? by working on his skills and talent James has been able to master his craft and become one of the best NBA players in history. This positions him as an authority and in such a way that he now gets endorsement deal from Nike and can generate media attention that can generate millions and even billions of dollars for advertisers.

Lesson : In order to become a successful marketer and home based business owner, you need to increase your perceived value to your audience. By constantly working on yourself by reading books, attending webinars and acquiring new skills that you can share, you will position yourself as an authority and will be able to demand more money for your time. People will look for you because they know that you are an authority, the leader and person they can trust and learn from. People will be in line to join your business and create massive wealth for you and your team members.

Aquiring a new skill set means you are willing to learn, grow and take on new challenges. Become a leader and your life can change for ever. But it all starts with an education.
