You've decided to venture into an MLM business, but you -- like 95% of all people who try an MLM business -- are struggling with lead generation for your MLM business. Your upline tells you that you have to "pound the pavement" to generate leads. They will tell you that it is how they -- and even how those "top earners" in your business who are making a 7-figure income, did it.
Despite all of this, though, it just doesn't seem to work as well as you've been told it does . . . even if you follow everything you're being told to do to the letter.

They have learned to position themselves as the expert. Remember that people come to you NOT to find a business opportunity, but because they want a solution to a problem (or an answer).
When you go online looking for something, for what are you looking? Are you looking for someone who seems to have what you are looking for, or are you looking for someone who wants to sell you a business opportunity about what you're looking for?
My guess is the former. . .
Say you are looking for natural remedies for arthritis pain. You go online. Are you going to click on a link giving you some great information about natural arthritis remedies, or are you going to click on a link advertising a great business opportunity selling an arthritis relief supplement? Once again, my guess is the that it's the former.
People are attracted to, and will listen to, those who they believe to be the experts. Lead generation in your MLM is all about shifting your focus from trying to SELL to positioning yourself as the expert in your field.
You want to develop a good relationship with your prospects by giving them good quality information and content, and then they will come to YOU about your business.
EVERY aspect of your marketing campaign should establish yourself as the authority figure YOU have the relationship with your prospects, you generated the leads on your list.
When you have a real, genuine relationship with prospects on your list. THAT'S the real asset you've created and NO ONE can ever take that away from you and your business.
People LOVE handing their hard earned money over to a trusted, respected expert (YOU). Lead generation in an MLM really comes down to this, and it is how all those "top earners" in your business did it.
So it's time to adjust your thinking about lead generation in your MLM business. You are now the authority figure -- the expert -- in your field. So the next time your upline tells you to have all your prospects get on a 3-way call with them, your answer is a big, fat NO!
