Learn What Hpv Cure Is Available
Did you know that more than 20 million people in the word have HPV infection
? What might even sound much more scarier is that there is no HPV remedy. Some of you might even be thinking, that although you don't know what it is, you don't have it. Well the fact is, there may be no symptoms to detect HPV. It might even go unnoticed.
HPV or Human papillomavirus is a sexually transmitted disease. You get this STD by having genital, oral or even anal sex with a person who has this STD. This person might not even be aware that they have Hpv.
HPV can be simpler to detect in a woman than it's in a man. A pap test can find strains which occasionally leads to cervical cancer. If these strains reveal that you have HPV, then there will be another test to try and find out if you have this STD. It can also be detected through the vaginal warts. Genital warts are not always found in people with HPV.
In men the only possible way to know they have HPV is through visual genital warts with cauliflower-like growth. Some times, you will find no warts in people with HPV. This makes it harder to diagnose a man with this STD.
Considering this and wondering if you are one of from 20 million people out there who have HPV, may make you get worried. You may even begin to panic to learn that there are no cures for this STD. The only thing you can do is allow HPV to treat itself, without requiring any remedy. People who have healthy immune systems can anticipate the HPV to be resolved in about two years. For those who have weak immune system or who are smokers, can expect to wait a little bit longer.
If there are visible vaginal warts, you could be recommended topical lotions. Some doctors may even burn the warts or freeze them with liquid nitrogen. In some rare cases, you may need surgical treatment to remove the warts.
If the infection produces cervical abnormalities, they can be treated by removing the impacted tissue prior to it actually becomes cancerous. For females who have been diagnosed with this sexually transmitted disorder, the only feasible treatment is to constantly watch it through tests, to make sure it doesn't turn out to be cancerous. Apart from treating, the genital warts, or cervical abnormalities, there really isn't much to do to try and treat this infection, other than wait for the infection to resolve on its own.
Although there are no HPV cures, you will find steps to take that may prevent this STD. One technique is to be abstinent, something which most may not want to do. There is also condoms, but not the greatest preventive method available. There is also an HPV shot available but it only helps to avoid it. The HPV shot does not help individuals who currently have this infection.
