If you really want to mark in your life, society or organization it is important to make a strong impact and leave behind a legacy. In life you have accomplished something if you have left behind something people can appreciate.

A legacy is something that you left behind that was special about or completely revolutionary. It could be in your whole lifetime or with an organization or a group of people. In your business or in what every you do you want to be innovative, inspirational or do something that will leave you a legacy that people will remember because that will build up your creditability.

Martin Luther King, Jr. left behind a legacy in his "I Have A Dream Speech" that everyone remembers to this day and will continue on from the next generation to the next. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a leader in pushing for the equal rights of African Americans in the United States.

A leader of leaves behind a legacy calls or invents a concept that is different or pushes for the betterment of people or society in general or who practices to be the best like how Michael Jordan was in the game of basketball.

In your business or your activities you have to get the concept for the betterment of people or to make something the best in order to be the best and become number one in order to get to your goals. When you leave behind the greatest legacy that means that people will be able to trust you and more will believe in you, follow you and they will want to learn how to become a leader because of your inspiration. They will want to take your inspiration in order to have success like you do.

You should lead by example instead of show-off, not listen to others' ideas, make bad choices or be egocentric. You never want your legacy to be damaged and you want your inspiration to be passed down to future generations if you want your legacy to be remembered and your business to continue to be successful. You want to also lead with selflessness and share your fortune and ideas. You also want to listen to others' ideas and concerns or else you will never attract potential leaders and your business will fail because you are not helping their lives and you are letting your ego get in the way too much by not incorporating their ideas into your legacy.

Never let your ego take control of everybody but let yourself and your ego lead you to a legacy by helping or inspiring others' in your business or hobbies.
