This is the biggest Hogwarts Castle that LEGO has produced as yet. It comes with four buildings, each with it's special room. The buildings come with Technic pins. These allow for the rearranging of the buildings which enables the imagination to flow to no end!
The actual set comes with the incredible amount of 1290 pieces. This includes 9 figurines. There is Harry Potter himself along with Hermione Granger. Dumbledore, Lord Voldermort and 2 dementors. The attention that LEGO has paid to detail is quite frankly astounding. There is Dumbledor's office with sliding spiral staircase, the common rooms of both Gryffindor and Slytherin. There is also the Off Limits area of the library and the Great Hall in its whole splendor. There are also hidden surprises in the castle like Sirius Black's face in the fireplace of the Gryffindor common room, or Tom Riddle's book that is hidden in the knight's armor and much more.
