Link building on the right blogs

Link building on the right blogs

Link building on the right blogs

As a website or blog owner, you probably know all about the partner links, link directories and commenting on other blogs.

But there are ways to make this work bear more fruit, and you therefore dont waste your time. This article will give you 2 new tools that both will help to ensure that you are commenting on the right blogs.

You probably know about Word Press blogs, Blogspot or Blogger as it is also called and Blogengine.net blogs. Do you know which of them you are should dont waste your time by commenting on, and by this i mean do you know which of them use "nofollow" on all their links and what that is.?

The "nofollow" tag is a property you can put on a web link, is doesnt matter if its a website or a blog because it has the same purpose. It was originally made to contain the problem with all the spam comments that are made on blogs, and thus its help blog owners. The tag makes it actively telling a search engine that the link should not be followed, thus giving link no value or at best very low value. It also means for you as commentator, you should strongly consider whether the comment you are writing is better used somewhere else. And as a blog owner should also consider what blogging software you should buy, for the very same reason.

Bloggerspot / Blogger

If we first look at Google's own Blogger or Blogspot as it has previously been called. Here is the standard that all commentator links get a "noFollow" tag added to their link, again this means that the link is not followed by any search engines. This also means that the blog owner doesn't have the option to say that this comment is really good and I will therefore give him some link juice for the comment. This fact is also something that you as a blog owner, should be aware of because this could be the sole reason that many users will decline to write a comment on your posts. And as a user you must know the same, so unless it's a topic you are passionate about you should keep your comments to a minimum and thus also your link building.

Wordpress

If we take a look at Wordpress, here is also a blog software that also by default adds a "nofollow" tag on all user. But if there is a blog is that isn't hosted at Wordpress.com or any other free sites, and thus being run the owner. Then the owner has the ability to install plugins, which can remove this "nofollow" tag from your link.

And this is the first tool that comes into the picture.!

Besides the ability to remove the tag from the users links, is there another plugin that for the first time is really seo and linkbuilding friendly. The plugin is called "ComLuv" and it has a website linked to where you can add your blog, however you can certainly live without doing it. If a blog has this plugin installed, then while you are writing your comment the plugin checks your blog and by standard get the latest post and link to it. This means that in addition to the link you enter, you'll now get a link to a subpage thus you get twice as much for your comment and with links that do not use "nofollow". If you add your blog to the "Comluv" website, then you will have the option of choosing which post that it should link to.

But there are millions of Wordpress blogs, but how to find the blogs that use this plugin without having to surf the web for endless hours.?

It can be done with a simple search on Google, where you find blogs that are relevant to your page or blog.

Simply use this search phrase.

"Your-Keyword =" CommentLuv Enabled "or" WordPress themes "CommentLuv Enabled"

This means that now you can actively find blogs that are relevant to your own blog, and especially where you can get links that can be used for something.

Blogengine.net

The last blogger software we are looking at is the Blogengine.net software. These blogs do not use "nofollow" tag, so here the search engines will always follow your link and therefore you always get link juice. This means that it can always be worthwhile to write a comment, because you always getting link juice from these blogs. There is one drawback on these blogs, the owners are faster to delete comments which are unserious. So when you choose to write a comment on these blogs, do write a real comment that is worth something and refrain from posts such as "good post", "best blog" or "I totally agree with you." because 99 times out of 100 comments like this will be deleted.

To find blogs with this software you only need simple search phrase, as its with Wordpress.

The search phrase is:

Your keyword "Powered by BlogEngine.NET" or download themes "Powered by BlogEngine.NET"

To sum it up, don't waste your time on Blogspot or Blogger blogs, keep your comments on Wordpress blogs to blogs run by the domain owner or do some link exchange. And above all, always write real comments, take part in the debate, and refrain from spam comments you don't want them either.!

Now there's only one thing left and that's for you to use these 2 new tools to find blogs that can help you with your link building.
