Among teenage girls, a new trend is emerging to throw the lipstick away and give your lips a lighter and shinier look. How do they go about this? By using lip gloss. However, lip gloss is not used only by teenage girls. It's actually worn by women from all ages and all over the world. There are other products like lip plumpers and concealer which make the lips look more attractive.

There are serums that are available on the market today that claim to provide effects that can defy aging. Some serums are a little more potent than others, but they are usually made of similar material: low level acids like the acids found in fruit. The idea is that the top layer of skin on and around the lips will be peeled away over time by using these serums, revealing healthier and lovelier looking skin on your lips.

Lip makeup has been a part of many different cultures and has been implemented to achieve different effects from beautifying to terrifying. Today it is primarily used to beautify, and it is constantly changing to have new effects and even functions.
