Live Fully In Each Moment

Being in the present moment simply means appreciating the joy and beauty that is available right now

. If we are not living fully in the present moment, we miss everything that is real. The present moment is filled with happiness and if we are aware, we will see it. Happiness is ours, right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see. Every breath we take can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. The question is whether or not we are in touch with it.

To live in the present moment does not mean we never think about the past or plan for the future. The practice of living in the here and now is not allow yourself to get lost in regrets about the past or worries about the future. The past is history, the future is a mystery, and if we do not return to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be truly happy or in touch with life. If your feet are firmly grounded in the present, the past can be an object of contemplation. You can attain many insights by looking into the past, but only if your mindfulness is rooted in the present moment. Responsible planning for the future is also important because it can make the present moment more enjoyable. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can overcome any hardship we experience today. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment and we overflow with acceptance, joy, peace and love.
