Looking Professional through your Signage

When someone enters your office building, you have a lobby that is neat, clean and organized. There is the receptionist or guest desk so they can announce their visit and get the information they need, there is a place to wait, and other things that make them feel comfortable and make you look more professional. You may want to decide what goes on the walls, especially the large one when you first walk into the building, and there are some choices you can decide from. First off you do not want to go with the painting, abstract, piece of art, fish tank, or any other form of decoration. The fact of the matter is that even though those all look great and may give your lobby some life, it does not make you look more professional. What you need are wall signs of your company logo. Plaque signs are a great way to show your company logo and even some more information. This doesn't mean business hours; it means information about the history of your company.

Wall signs or plaque signs bring a level of class to an office. Now you do not want them to be in every office, on every wall, including the bathroom, but you do want them in plain view of anyone who walks into the front door. The more visible they are the more they can do for your company. Believe it or not the best way to make a good first impression with someone has very little to do with what you say to them. Many people get their first impressions of a company by how the lobby looks as they are waiting to see you. If you are an accountant or lawyer for example, you will have clients waiting to see you. You do not want them staring at bare walls or art work and not see anything that has to do with your company do you? You want them looking at your company name so that it sticks with them, it is the oldest form of advertising so why ignore it. Have you ever heard a television commercial that was annoying or dumb? We all have, and we all remember them, and that was the point of the commercial. Well wall signs are not annoying or dumb, but they leave a lasting memory with people who walk into your company and that's what you want them to do.
