Figuring out specific LSAT test dates can sometimes be annoying

. The best thing a student can do is to plan their schedule ahead of time, so that when it is finally time to register for the LSAT they are prepared.

LSAT testing is done 4 times in the year - in June, in October, in December, and in February. LSAT testing begins in June, which means the same test is given to students until the following February.

Students need to keep in mind that published test center deadline registration usually occurs about a month before the actual test date. For instance, if you would like to take the LSAT on June 7th, you would want to register in late April or early May.

Deadline registration for non published centers of testing happens 5 to 7 days prior to the standard deadline. If the normal deadline for registration is November 3rd, the non published test-center deadline registration will be around October 30th.

One may register for their LSAT testing in several ways. The first way to register for the LSAT is through the internet. The second way to register is through telephone. You also have the choice to register for your LSAT through normal mail.

Keep in mind that students may also register for their LSAT if they have missed the regular deadline. The late deadline for registration by mail extends the regular deadline by seven days. Late registration through the internet or by phone extends the regular deadline by ten days.

Students may also choose to change the location of their test center. This is perfectly acceptable; just understand there is also a deadline for this, which happens about 10 to 12 days after the regular deadline. Students can also be issued a refund for their LSAT registration, but keep in mind that it is a partial refund only.

When the LSATs are over, there are several methods for getting your scores back. The first is by e-mail. The second is by snail mail. E-mailed scores are faster than scores sent by snail mail, and are also given out at no charge. Normal mail requires another charge and an extra 7 to 10 days to process.

If you do not prepare for LSAT registration early, you might not make critical deadlines. If this happens, you might have to forfeit your fees and wait an additional four months just to take your test. Don't let this happen to you and prepare yourself early.
