GoogSpy.com - A very valuable tool that I use for research. GoogSpy.com lets me see the keywords that the big boys (Amazon, Overstock, etc.) are bidding on. This free tool gives me info that I'd be willing to pay hundreds, or even thousands of dollars for!
Four word keyword phrases - I have found this to be quite effective. Using 4 word keyword phrases versus 2, or even 3 word phrases yields more targeted search results. Although you will not get as many hits for this more targeted 4 word keyword phrase, there is less competition and more potential for you to find someone who is looking for your specific item(s). Although you will not get as many hits from using a keyword like "black shirt for sale" as "black shirt", simply make more keywords like "large black shirt sale" or "reduced price on shirts". These more targeted keywords have been proven to be a successful way to drive targeted buyers to your site and thus, your products!
