MRSA has been in the news a lot, and MRSA prevention is important not only in hospitals, clinics and medical facilities, but any place where people gather together. What is MRSA?
MRSA is a type of staph infection, officially known as Staphylococcus Aureus, which is a bacteria found on the skin of many individuals. Another name for it is Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, which is where the term MRSA comes from.
