Mahindra Quanto Launched

The Mahindra Quanto aka Mahindra Xylo Mini will soon be running on the Indian roads

, it has been noticed by the company, reliable sources and recently captured pictures of the vehicle. Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the biggest automobile maker in Indian auto market is going to launch its first sub 4-meter mini MPV this week. As per reliable sources the new Mahindra Quanto launch in India will be happening on 20th September 2012. Ahead of launch, the company has started the delivery of the demo cars to dealers which have recently been captured by cameras.

Mahindra Quanto is the first sub 4-meter mini MPV in Indian automobile market by the pure Indian auto giant which is speculated to achieve huge response from customers due to competitive price range, highly sophisticated features and specifications. The spied Mahindra Quanto pictures are indicating highly sophisticated and first of all it will be offered to the customers with diesel fuel option. There are four variants speculated in the mini MPV from features wise like E4, E6, E8 and E9. Mahindra Quanto price for the basic E4 model is speculated to start at Rs. 4.75 lakh while the top-end D9 variant may go for Rs. 6 lakh at ex-showroom.

Mahindra Quanto is a 7-seater compact MPV, which comes with arrangement of 2+3+2 seats and it has a newly developed 1.5L, 1498 cc, 3-cylinder, CRDi, MHAWK diesel engine under the hood, which is capable to produce maximum power of 64-68 PS at 4000 rpm along with peak torque of 152 Nm at 2250 rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission system. The new mini MPV is speculated very fuel economical with expected mileage of 12 kmpl in city areas and 17 kmpl on long roads. It has been tested many of times and Mahindra Quanto Specification, features and performance prove it a tough competitor of the most popular MPV Maruti Ertiga. Beside this, the new Mahindra compact MPV will be giving good competition to the Renault Duster, Premier Rio, Tata Sumo etc. sub MPV/SUVs in the Indian domestic auto market.

Right now, India"s leading automobile maker Mahindra & Mahindra has aggressive plans for new car launches and gradually the company is spreading wings in overseas markets. It is speculated to launch the Mahindra Quanto mini MPV in foreign markets too along with India. Already the company offers its best selling MPV Mahindra Xylo, premium SUV Mahindra Scorpio and newly launched Mahindra XUV 500 to the overseas customers. With it Mahindra will soon bring out the Ssangyoung vehicles for the Indian customers. It will launch the premium SUV Mahindra Korando in India by the end of this year while the luxury SUV Mahindra Rexton will be making its presence in country by the start of next year.

Mahindra & Mahindra has also dived into the electric car segment with launch of Mahindra REVA and now the company has plans to launch the Reva NXG and NXR electric cars in India by near future.
