Another problem you can encounter at work is body aches you get from sitting too much in your office chair. Prevent neck pains, shoulder pains, and back pains from distracting you by maintaining a good posture while sitting or standing. Adjust your computer as well to make sure you do not have difficulty while typing.

Another way to prevent body pains is to perform stretching exercises before you sit down to work and every hour in between. Sitting too long on your chair may result to poor blood circulation and in most cases, boredom. Make use of your breaks to take a power nap or take walk in the park near your workplace just to release some stress.


Do not hesitate to nibble on some energy food like a chocolate bar or a bag of almond nuts. A cup of coffee will be good to keep you wide-awake and alert as well. Most importantly, do not wait long before drinking your next glass of water. You can get carried away with what youre doing sometimes that you forget to drink so make sure you have your own bottle of water in your desk.

The immune system is the bodys first line of defense against sickness and disease so make sure you keep it strong. Make healthy eating, regular exercise and sleeping early a way of life so that you can be sure that no matter what kind of virus or bacteria in the workplace poses a threat on you, you know that you are protected.
