Another way to make working out more fun is to gradually build up your level of work

. Don't go out and try to pound the miles right away. If you start small and get used to running for a certain time, you can build off of that. Getting out the door can be a lot easier if you know that you will still maintain some level of comfort. The key here is to push yourself a little more then what is comfortable to you, but not to a level that makes you hate running. If you can maintain some level of comfort, you will not dread going out and running. This can make it easier for you to develop a regular workout routine. Working out regularly is much more valuable then doing it on a semi-regular basis. It's better to do less exercise on a more consistent basis then hitting it hard for a day or two and taking a lot of time off. If you can remember these few tips, you can make your workout process more fun and slightly less challenging. Running does not have to be something you dread doing.
