, especially if you are still in the lower levels of the game. And the two most suited professions which will give you a quite number of gold would be mining and herbalism.
When you sell metallic minerals and herbs at the Auction House will yield gold while still leveling up. And to mention that those two prfessions mentioned, still helpful even if you are at high levels already.
But before you proceed to that, first download the Gatherer add on to help you keep track of all the metals and herbs that youve discovered. That way, you will not be lost and running all over the map just tryin to remember which herb is where.
Where to seek your trainers? Mining trainers could be seen at:
* Belil (Silvermoon City)
* Brek Stonehoof (Thunder Bluff)
* Brom Killian (The Undercity)
* Johan Facht (Silverpine Forest)
* Krugosh (Hellfire Peninsula)
* Krunn (Durotar)
* Makaru (Orgrimmar)
* Pikkle (Tanaris)
Best areas to find ore:
If it is Copper that you are seeking, go to the Barrens and you will find them in large numbers.
You could also find Tin at the Barrens, especially at the Southern part. But if you want to know where the hideout of Tin veins is, well, it's in Stonetalon Mountains and Thousand Needles.
On the same note, Alterac mountains is where you cold find Iron and Gold. Ashenvale, Desolace, Strangethorn, Vale, Arathi Highlands, and Badlands are the last place for you to go to when in search for those two minerals.
As for Truesilver and Mithril, the best spot would be the Thousand Needles-Highperch. Mithril can also be seen at Badlands but its home is in Lethlor Ravine.
Herbalism - where to seek its trainers? Herbalism trainers can be located at:
* Angrun (Stranglethorn Vale)
* Aranae Venomblood (Hillsbrad Foothills)
* Botanist Nathera (Silvermoon City)
* Botanist Tynarriel (Eversong Woods)
* Faruza (Tirisfal Glades)
* Flora Silverwind (Stranglethorn Vale)
* Jandi (Orgrimmar)
* Komin Winterhoof (Thunder Bluff)
* Malvor (Moonglade)
* Martha Alliestar (Undercity)
* Mishiki (Durotar)
* Ruw (Feralas)
Best areas to find herbs:
Silverleaf, Peacebloom and Earthroot can be seen at Durotar, Mulgore and Tirisfall Glades respectively.
As for the Mageroyal, go directly to the Westfall and the Barrens.
If its Bruiseed that you want to find, then head to Stonetalon or Redridge Mountains.
Head North of the Stonetalon and you shall find Wild Steelbloom and Kingsblood.
Fadeleaf is best found in Badlands, Hinterlands, Alterac Mountains and Arathi Highlands.
The Swamp of Sorrows is where the Khadgar's Whiskers dwells. And if you want to find the Sungrass, just go to Feralas.
