know a thing about social recruiting or how to make it successful for us. If you are one of the people that is not that with it or tech confident as it seems the rest of the world around you is, you are not alone in that my friends! There are so many people out there that havent got the faintest idea what to do in terms of getting involved in social recruiting is concerned.

The first thing that you need to know about is the many social networks available online and how each of them works. Lets say that you have a MySpace and maybe a Facebook page but you really dont do that much with them because you simply dont know how to put the power of the social networks to work for you. The key to making any type of social recruiting work for you is the fact that you know what you want in an employee and who you want to hire for the position available. The rest of the problem really is not that much of a problem then.

Most people believe that social recruiting is something that is not going to be around for that long when in fact it actually has been around since the first jobs have been. The only difference is the structure that todays social recruiting has taken. We have gone from word-of-mouth advertising to written ads in the newspaper to the current form of online advertising that we are talking about here. The advancement has been a time consuming one for sure, but one that was bound to come in any event.

How many times have you seen small ads or job postings that simply did not make that much sense to you because there was not nearly enough information in the ad? How many times have you been thoroughly baffled by the terms used in ads? This is something that you are going to need to be alert of when putting together your messages in your social recruiting efforts. We all know that being very clear and concise is pretty much an essential when it comes to anything in business. Did you also realize that being as clear and brief as you possibly can without using Internet slang or abbreviations is important?


There are many people that will look at a poorly worded social recruiting ad or one that has too many abbreviations and simply laugh because they feel that this is not at all very professional. They might also not even bother with the ad if they cannot comprehend what you are saying.
