For instance, you don't have to make your boyfriend feel like king of the world to make him happy. You only have to make him feel like king of your world. It's a subtle difference that can have a huge impact on your odds of success (not to mention not wearing yourself out or running yourself ragged making all sorts of unnecessary changes). Next, talk things through. When was the last time the two of you sat down and had a long conversation about your relationship? Chances are you've talked about everything under the sun but your relationship. You need to talk about goals for the future, make plans, and share dreams together. You need to let each other know how you feel (even when things are going good). You need to be there for each other and one way to do that is by lending an ear. Give making up your all. If you're committed to making things work and want to make things right then you need to be wiling to give it your all. You'll probably have to do some things that are a little outside of your comfort zone to make it happen but doing these things and making a few small changes can be all it takes to make things right in your world. Remember to start with very small steps to make those really big changes and you'll be on your way to making up in a manner that really is guaranteed.
