Malossi Company's History

Malossi Company is from Italy and it focuses on the manufacture of moped and scooters and other products. The company was founded on 5th April 1905 by Mr. Armarndo. The founder came from a farmer's family and he was the youngest son in his family. Ever since his early childhood, Armando was fascinated by engines and mechanical gadgets. He begun his career in several engineering companies in Bologna and he then moved to Milan to work for the Caproni Company.

Company Start Up

After returning to Bologna where he started to work for Maserati, Amarndo was pulled into the entrepreneurial culture and he begun his own bike repairing and artisan business. In 1946, Amarndo's first son joined him in his work and he was appointed as the general manager. In 1958 he formed the current company which at that time was offering products like bicycle and motorcycle repairs.

The Growth of the Company

The company then moved on from simple repair work to the manufacture of moped parts as well as venturing into the racing business. The company now boasts of producing a collection of products that are tried and tested to match the high quality standards advocated by the company motto.

The company also provides and serene and corporative environment for the numerous workers working in the factories so as to ensure high quality workmanship. The company has seen three generations of the family since it was formed and has continued to offer high quality and innovative products for their customers.

The 70 years that the company has been in existence has enabled it to have a leading role in the manufacture of scooter spares and motorcycle parts. The company focuses on research and proper design of its products which have to pass through the in house production cycle that involves the design, construction of the prototype mold; robot manufacturing and finally the gadgets have to undergo testing in the laboratories.

The Company's Philosophy

The company's philosophy of production of quality products has bee achieved through the hiring of professional workers and technicians and the adoption of new technologies to increase efficiency, Great Corporation amongst the staff members and the focus on thorough testing to ensure high quality products are produced.
