In the first article concerning mediation between the universe and God I mentioned very briefly that the mind is the mediator between our living universe and God. It is the tool of searching for God and finding Him. Whether, then, to believe or not to believe remains the question!
The mind is provided for us, no wretched human being can claim the invention of the mind. Lesser still we any knowledge of what is the mind, what is the origin of it, why is there a mind to begin with and why should our mind be engaged with the preoccupation of searching for Go?
No answers yet to these questions. Perhaps science touches very superficially on what is the mind, but that's all folks.
Now we can look, and in the same perspective, though from another angle at man himself. Whether man is only mind or not, this is another question. If we agree with the motto that in order to be we must think, then perhaps this is true. But this is nevertheless open to questioning and interrogations. For No one can have the least pretension of telling you what thinking is and what being is. Unless you, with your particular genius, can!
We are left with the mysterious enigma of the mind, our own being, our own origin, our own meaning, our own purpose and our finality. We are here in complete darkness of the Platonic cave. But even Plato and his master Socrates, as well as his disciple Aristotle, fell short of identifying God as the creator and originator of the universe , themselves and yourself included.
However, we are here by obligation. Unless you decide to release yourself from breathing oxygen. Try it, it might be fun to your wife and total release for your neighbors and boss.
But you exist, and you have to, no way to escape, if you are a normal and healthy person, sane that is. Stick it up Charlie, that's all what you can do.
You have a body to live in, and undergo whatever stringents are imposes on you, with great limits in very domain, mind, psyche, physique and spirit. Make your own escapades and you will end up in conjecture.
Everything in this world, the universe, has its mystery. As Einstein puts it that he enjoys the magic mystic aspect of the universe. Well, we are not all Einsteins, even though his relativity theory lost grounds with new discoveries, and completely so at the singularity of the big bang.
But, here you are there facing this great universe with its living aspects and manifestations. You alone against the whole world. You have no chance, but your own mind, little as it is, feeble as it is (according to Einstein: we understand very little of the universe with our feeble minds), is the responsible boat to make you traverse the journey of death to the other side of the Nile river.
We all have mind, that is most of us, or even few of us, to think, and we as members of the human species are made, forced is the right term, to look into our universe, interact with it, and are made to conclude a creator cause. This then is referred to your intelligent Devil who decides whether it is best for you to deny this God or to believe in it.
The Devil is of great help to make you deny the power that made your atoms and that of the universe. He has won the battle with nearly six billions of his wretched victims today, and keeps trying to snatch your own soul. If you let him do it then Jesus Christ has done a better job at that, for he rejected the Devil and continued to worship God.
We are not all Einsteins nor Jesus Christs. We are ordinary wretched humans who are made to think, made to look into the universe and made to conclude. Even suicide cannot save you, you take your choice certainly before your exit, with the Devil's laughter resounding in your deaf ears.
You are made as a mediator between what you yourself and between the world you live in. Everything in you cried out for your mediation, everything in you is made in such a way to mediate between the two. The two along side your humble self are impingent subjects on you for your short life. You are in reality the lens of your existence, the purpose of your being and the object-target of the power that put your atoms together.
Believe in it and you shall see, deny it and you shall see!
