Managing Creative Project Class

It has been observed that, thoughts and ideas face challenges in their successful circulation in the world. On this basis, well nurtured and communicated ideas stick. In a classroom situation, biological terms will be understood by the students depending on how the teacher is communicating them. Additionally, the stickiness of ideas depends on their interesting or uninteresting nature. In this case, interesting ideas will spread and stick for long as compared with uninteresting ideas and topics in classroom (Heath & Heath, 2007).

Additionally, presentation of ideas in a classroom also determines their stickiness. On this basis, one should be more creative in presenting ideas where ideas which can be viewed visually in forms of graphs and pie charts are stickier than oral ideas. In this case, ideas presented should be concrete enough (Heath & Heath, 2007). Still on the same point, a teacher may tell a story or give an example of whatever is being taught so that students would be remembering that story or example and get the whole concept of the taught idea. More so, some interesting and attractive headlines and topic should be used in order to make a message spread quickly and stick. In this relation, sensational ideas will stick as compared to unattractive ones. It is of importance to note that, for ideas to be understood and remembered by the audience; they must stand on their own merits (Heath & Heath, 2007).

On this basis, for ideas to stick they must be simple and straight to the point. A teacher teaching a mathematic lesson should make sure that, all calculations and explanations are simple and profound. Additionally, ideas that are not expected have high level of curiosity hence attract people's attention (Heath & Heath, 2007). In this case, when students are introduced to something unexpected; they pay much attention to it hence understanding it much well. Moreover, teachers should teach ideas that they have already tested and are aware of. If a student asks the teacher a question and he is not able to answer at once; whatever is teaching is incredible and very hard to comprehend (Heath & Heath, 2007).
