March Is Here and We Are Gearing Up For a Busy Baseball Season

As each week passes from now until the summer, baseball trading pin season is heating up. A little league team out of Long Island, New York wanted something to set themselves apart at games and tournaments. The pin that they created for 2011 needed to be highly tradeable. After listening to their design ideas, we were able to create an outstanding dangler complete with the team's mascot and all of the player's numbers.

The baseballs going in a half circle clockwise is a great way to make each athlete feel like a part of the team. It also helps customize the pin and give it that extra special something that sets it apart from the crowd at tournaments like Cooperstown and the Little League World Series. In fact, it's hard not to notice a trading pin that incorporates a raging bull, the team's colors of black and yellow, and a dangling baseball with the year 2011 on it. In all likelihood, it will be one of the first pins being traded at tournaments this year.

Here are some suggestions we have for making your trading pins as unique and appealing as the one we did for the little league team mentioned here:

Choose a bold graphic like a mascot or flaming baseball. This is a great way to get people to associate your mascot with your team. You can't help but notice the Smithtown Stampede's strong looking bull.

Choose a unique shape. Trading pins do not have to be round. In fact, the one that we featured in today's blog is baseball diamond shaped. The more unique the size and the shape, the better the chance of the pin being traded.

Choose a cool add-on. From dangling charms to blinking lights, we have a lot of options available to add style to your already awesome trading pin design.
