. When its come to durability, longevity and reliability, Maruti occupies a noteworthy position in the automobile market of India. Maruti Suzuki launched its Life Utility Vehicle, a new low and mid budget car titled as Maruti Ertiga. The Ertiga competes with similar model of Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Chevrolet Tavera Neo and Tata Aria.

According to figures, within five days from the launch, the Ertiga has already breached around 11,000 unit mark. Not only the distinctive feature, price and look, but the company has put its best efforts in promotion of the vehicle. It is available in different seven colors that are serene blue, firebrick red, granite grey, silky silver, ecru beige, superior white and dusky brown.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a wonderful surprise for Indian customers when it comes to performance. The petrol model is outfitted with 1.4 litre K14B VVT engine which produce 93.7 bhp @ 6000 rpm and an outmost torque of 130 Nm @ 4000 rpm. On the other hand, the diesel model is outfitted with 1.3 litre DDiS engine which churns out 88.7 bhp @ 4000 rpm and an outmost torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm. It gives high cruising speeds and enhanced highway mileage. The petrol version gives a mileage of 16 kmpl whereas the diesel version gives a mileage of 20.77 kmpl. The suspension system consists of MacPherson Strut in the front and Torsion beam at the rear.
