Mathura in Uttar Pradesh is mainly regarded as the birthplace of Lord Krishna

The trains take two hours to three hours to travel from Mathura to Delhi.
Journey by road is also very convenient to travel from Mathura to Delhi. Uttar Pradesh State Transport and travel agencies ply regular bus services in this route. Buses charge a fare ranging from Rs.200 to 450 depending on the type of vehicle for the trip. The bus takes about three hours to reach the destination from Mathura.
Taxi cars are available in plenty to travel from Mathura to Delhi. They charge a rate starting from Rs.2500 for the one-way journey. The journey time for the taxi car is about two hours and 30 minutes. The road passes through (with the distance in kilometres from Mathura) Hodal (55 km), Faridabad (115 km) and Delhi (145 km).
