Realty and Consumer Durables sectors witnessed the highest addition in open interest at 3.57% and 3.47% while the Metals space shed 9.29% in open interest.

In the Realty space, IB Real Estate and HDIL saw the highest addition in open interest at 7.08% and 5.93% on the back of long accumulation while DLF and Sobha Developers shed 1.35% and 0.33% in open interest due to closure of short positions.

In the Consumer Durables space, Asian Paints and Skumars saw an addition of 9.3% and 8% while Videocon Industries shed 0.58% in open interest.

In Metals space, Sesa Goa and Jindal Saw witnessed the highest addition in open interest at 9.35% and 7.76% on the back of long accumulation while Ispat Industries and Hindustan Zinc shed 21.98% and 4.75% in open interest respectively.

Tata Steel December series OTM put options strikes saw fresh addition of short positions in the last session, indicating that the stock is likely to trade with a positive bias in the near term. Positional Recommendations Sesa Goa: Sesa Goa witnessed addition of long positions in the last trading session.

The stock saw an addition of 9.35% in open interest with an increase in cost of carry from 17.69% to 24.24%. Long positions can be assume in the stock at 295-300 levels for targets of 315 and 330 levels with a stop loss placed below 286 levels.

Hindalco: Hindalco witnessed addition of long positions in the last trading session. The stock saw an addition of 7.61% in open interest with a decline in cost of carry from 15.48% to 8.68%. Long positions can be assumed in the stock at 227-232 levels for targets of 240 and 245 levels with a stop loss placed below 220 (Spot) levels.

Tech Mahindra: Tech Mahindra witnessed addition of long positions in the last trading session. The stock added 9.89% in open interest with an increase in cost of carry from 14.32% to 23.49%. Long positions can be assumed in the stock at 690-700 levels for targets of 725 and 740 levels with a stop loss placed above 680 (Spot) levels.

Hero Honda 1900 PA: Hero Honda 1900-strike December put option saw addition of short positions in the last trading session. It added 20,500 shares in open interest with a decrease in IV by 11 percentage points. Short positions can be assumed in the option at Rs 30-34 with a stop loss at 1875(spot) and hold till expiry.

Hindalco 220 PA: Hindalco 220-strike December put option saw addition of short positions in the last session. It added 4,50,000 shares in open interest with an increase in IV by 2.7 percentage points. Short positions can be assumed in the option at Rs 1.5-2 with a stop loss at 220(spot) and hold till expiry.
