Such plans are eliminated due to the reason that preventive-care and at-home recovery benefits are eliminated. Without these benefits, plans would have been redundant. However, they added a hospice benefit to all remaining plans, which covers the five percent coinsurance charged for respite care and drugs during hospice care.
