Some fans say the Memphis Tigers just aren't having a good season so far this year

Those who remain optimistic hope to see some great skills and moves on the field as the Memphis Tigers play out the rest of the year this season against East Carolina on October 27, Tennessee on November 7, UAB on November 15, Houston on November 21, Tulsa on November 27 and Conference USA Championship finals on December 5.

The overall statistics not only indicate the obvious, which is that Memphis Tigers points are lower than opponents but also reveal that first down rushing and passing are well within the range of competitors. Those who are skeptical should reconsider the efforts of this great team and remember the challenges that a good football game contains when you put two good teams together; somebody has to lose.

The Liberty Bowl Stadium offers six gated entrances into this oval shaped stadium with seating options galore. To the north are the sky boxes and stadium office. A record setting crowd of 65,885 was on hand in 1996 when the Memphis Tigers upset Tennessee who was ranked No. 6 at the time.
