For men that really like to be fashion conscience

, it can be draining on the pocket book when it comes to trying to keep up with the new yearly trends. However it doesn't have to be that way if a man does his shopping carefully.

For the super conscientious individual then looking to see what's on the runway for the beginning of the year at least it gives some idea of what the trends are going to be. This is such as the case with the year 2010 and deciding on what fashion to go with is dependant on your age as well. Needless to say if you are in the midlife area of age, you are not going to go with the super tight jeans and body shirts.

Most often when it comes to fashion though men are most interested in relation to their business attire. There are basically two business looks in the 2010 choices. There is the somewhat classic business suit with the tendency to be going with the whites and the creams for this year, and a more vibrant colored shirt.

And then there is the sporty type look with a mixture of dress pants and jacket with an alternate colored vest. This is topped with a pattern shirt. When it comes to the accessory part it would seem that the laced neck chips are going to be the rave. Some men kind of balk at the thought of this idea, but when worn with the proper attire it actually looks quite manly and stunning.

For those men that really aren't partial to the white or cream colored suits they can still remain in fashion with the nautical type clothing. In this case the choice of colors would be the very dark colors that still have a bright and airy look to them. One thing though that must be remembered is the materials must remain of a light nature. The heavier type materials are really not going to cut it for this year.

Added to this look are the shirts that are in the assorted pin stripes and also the wider striped shirts with the gold and blue striping. For those that really don't want to invest a lot of money in the new fashions of the year then most likely buying a few of this year's trend in shirts would be applicable. It's a almost anything goes type of trend, and this means going with the bold colors will work. On the other hand for those that like the more subtle summer colors then the pastels will work just as efficiently. In order to stay in fashion it's a matter of how the suits and shirts are worn together, and perhaps a few of this years ties will create the overall look.

There really is no need to go out and spend a ton of money each year just to stay in fashion. What's important is to keep enough in the men's wardrobe to keep it versatile so that choices can be made easily. Fortunately there is not always drastic changes that take place in the suits themselves, and it may just mean the elimination of wearing the vest for a particular years trend.
