These narrow winding streets are where the Chinese settled and is now still where old Malacca's heart beats. It is full of buildings with genuine Peranakan architecture. The wonderfully diverse architecture and also museums that art lovers can visit. Visitors staying in centrally embellished structures host superb antique stores where it is possible to get great bargains on wood carvings, handicrafts and the amazing Nyonya shoes.
