Miniature Paintings

Phads

Unique in style, these are the traditional scroll paintings. These mainly depict the life and achievements of the famous folk heroes of Rajasthan namely Pabuji and Dev Narain. A rectangular piece of rough cloth is used for his form of painting. The folk stories and the Bhagvata Puran scenes are also depicted through these paintings.

Pichwais

These are decorative cloths used as the background for religious images. These can be made in different styles such as hand painted, embroidered or woven.
