Metropolitan Medical Services announced today a new discount trade-in program for customers affected by the GEand Drageranesthesia machine discontinuations. The discount program will issue a trade-allowance, based on the model and condition of the trade-in, towards the purchase of a new Spacelabs BleaseSirius anesthesia system or a current generation reconditioned anesthesia machine.

Factory support is no longer being offered for many popular GE and Drager machines. Some of the GE machines include the Ohmeda Modulus II & II Plus Excel 110, Excel 210, Excel 210SE, and Modulus SE. Drager has recently released letters regarding the discontinued service support for the Narkomed 2B, 2C and Narkomed 4.

"We are finding in the market a number of customers that are being affected by the discontinuation of service support on their machines. We are offering solutions to those customers, as well as anyone who may need machine support," said Jeff Rhinehart, CEO, Metropolitan Medical Services.
