The below given instructions can be followed while moving from open cart to Magento:

During the migration from openCart to Magento, the first step to be followed is going to Cart-2-Cart, and then clicking the button Start Migration.

Next step is opening the account page by entering the username and password. When the page opens then a tab appears at the top of the page. This tab called My Migrations tab must be clicked.

To select the source cart type, go to the drop down menu and choose OpenCart from it. Now the source cart name and URL address must be entered. After this the Download button is clicked. By doing so a connection to Source Cart files will be established automatically by the Cart-2-Cart extension.

In order to set up connection to the Target Cart files, at first click the button named Target Cart Setup. Later from the drop-down menu of Target Cart Type, select Magento shopping cart. This step helps in creating a connection with the Target Cart files.

To select the data of our own wish, the Entries Selection button must be clicked. Then the check boxes in front of the data of our wish must be selected. This moves those data to the Magento store.

Then the Confirm Migration button is clicked and after this in order to start the process the Start Migration button is clicked.
