Mike Dillard - A Network Marketer's Hero!

Mike Dillard started his school days in the enchanting town of San Antonio near Austin, Texas, originally with the idea of becoming an dental surgeon like his uncle. It wasn't long before he realised that his true calling didn't lie in this field but in 'entrepreneurship' and in particular in 'Marketing'.

Although he managed to graduate from college with a Marketing degree he believes he owes most of his Marketing expertise to his own efforts in self development. He admits that he spent countless hours in Barnes and Noble researching Marketing literature and studying books such as 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill and 'How to win Friends and Influence People' by Dale Carnegie.

Now, amongst some of the most famous headlines you may see online today are 'How a 20 something year old kid went from waiting tables to seven figures in less than 18 months'.

Amazing results! - But it obviously wasn't all fun and games for Mike Dillard - he had to push himself to overcome barriers that were in his way. He once purposely took on a telephone cold calling job, which he hated in order to teach himself to overcome his fear of calling leads. In fact he puts his success down to nothing more than a desire to succeed and sheer determination.

His concept of 'Attraction Marketing' was born out of the frustration of the rejection that people faced in Network Marketing. He decided that there must be a better way to do business other than to hunt down prospects that had no interest in your opportunity - 'wouldn't it make a lot more sense to attract interested people to you'?

From this first thought he came up with a book, (which was originally for his downline) which he called: 'Magnetic Sponsoring'. Magnetic Sponsoring is as eminent today as it was five years ago - it has of course been modified to keep up with the forever mutating trends on the Internet, but it is still rated as the Number 1 training product in the world. Magnetic Sponsoring has been heralded as a life changing resource for struggling MLM'ers and Network Marketers who without it would have surely turned into just another one of the 95% of failed Marketers.

These days, discerning Network Marketers no longer have to rely on outdated 'Old School' methods of recruiting, they no longer have to trudge the countryside delivering leaflets, knocking on doors, holding gainless hotel meetings in order to recruit a few team members, only to have them leave out of frustration a few weeks later. Times have changed!
