If you have ever dreamed of owning a supercar, but been put off by either the price tag or the worry of scraping a bollard when trying to park it, then your worries could be over.

Mini versions of the Jaguar EType and the Porsche Speedster were made for the Christmas period, and it looks like the companies who produce these vehicles may be making another batch, so if you have the spare money then it could be a great opportunity to own a miniatures sized supercar. The jaguar e type is one of the UKs most iconic cars, and a smaller version will make it far more affordable to the masses. The same is applicable to the Porsche which is the car of choice for speedsters and car fanatics across the world.

The vehicles will still fit a human in, but have a smaller price tag if between seven to ten thousand pounds. They are a tiny seven foot long, and are available in either electric or a 1100 cc petrol engine, and have been designed to be really economical. In an age where the eco car is prevailing, the eco model of the mini supercar could be a great way to take it forward in 2011. The vehicles are able to do two hundred and fifty miles per gallon, with the electric vehicles being much less easy to use on the roads, as they only reach speeds of fourteen miles per hour. The cars are fully serviceable and come with working lights, horn, indicators and all the other thinks that you would see in a normal car. They are however, not road legal, and have so far been purchased by enthusiasts who own the real thing and wish to have smaller ones for their children or to display in their homes.

If you own a super car, or just a regular car, then make sure that you have Drivers Insurance before you take the vehicle on the roads, as driving without insurance is a criminal offence. It will be much harder to get Car Insurance for a mini vehicle as they will be a rarity and therefore more appealing to the criminal.
