This loss to Texas marks the third straight loss in a row for the Missouri Tigers who also loss to Oklahoma State and Nebraska in the two games prior. Taking a glance back to the start of the 2009-2010 season, the Missouri Tigers came out of the gate on the road against Illinois at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis to win 37-9. Still heated up, they took down Bowling Green at home 27-20.

There was another win in Reno against Nevada 31-21 and somehow the Tigers lost their momentum afterwards. Homecoming awaits Missouri with a game against Colorado on October 31, Baylor on November 7 and Kansas State on November 14. Fans and coaches alike are optimistic that the Tigers will come back with the same vim and vigor that won them the first three games.

The overall team statistics for Missouri actually look pretty good compared to the opposition with an average of 26.1 points per game and more passing points at 71. Perhaps it behooves the Tigers to take a closer look at their penalty status with 16 compared to less than half at 7 for the opposition. Blaine Gabbert, Jimmy Costello, Danario Alexander and Derrick Washington stand at the top of the list for most overall passing and total offense. Washington also ranks in the top five for rushing and receiving making him one player to keep an eye on as the season proceeds.

After the loss to Texas, Head Coach Gary Pinkel's opening post game quote gave credit where it was due, citing that Texas was a great team but also indicating his disappointment with his own team. "I'm responsible for getting those guys to play well...If we don't start playing better, you're never going to win a game."

Located at 600 E Stadium Boulevard, Faurot Field has been standing and serving fans and opponents since opening in 1926. Current capacity for Faurot Field is 71,004 and has been the home of the Missouri Tigers since opening.

For the diehard fans of the Missouri Tigers, there's a seasonal parking pass you can purchase as well.

In addition to a great game, fans can enjoy novelty stands, updated concession stands and food stations. Recent renovations include a new brick faade and upgraded north end zone entrance. The concourses were also resurfaced and light towers were added for evening games. Luxury seating above the west stands provides accommodation for games in style and the covered experience for those who don't want to enjoy the outdoor elements firsthand.

There's plenty of season left this year to get your seats at a home game and watch the Wildcats play on their own turf. Hopefully, they'll give the fans more than their money's worth at the remainder of the games for 2009-2010.
