Mitsubishi Planning To Introduce Their Hatchback In India

, is planning to launch in India their first hatchback model in next three years to add to the present Mitsubishi Cars. This model will be manufactured in Thailand. New
Mitsubishi Cars will be developed to put a challenge in front of cars like Volkswagen Polo, Nissan Micra, Fiat Punto, Hyundai i20, Maruti Swift and Maruti Ritz as all of them are under B+ segment. It will not be an easy task for Mitsubishi Motors as none of them is new to Indian car market and all of them have their own fan groups.
Further Mitsubishi Motors is well set to sell beyond 2,00,000 units of this new car year by year from their Thailand manufacturing unit. This new Mitsubishi Car popularly known as Mitsubishi Global Car will be manufactured in the third unit of Thailand which is in vicinity to the other two production plants of the company.
New Mitsubishi Car will be coming in two option, 1.0 litre and 1.2 litre engine. According to latest news, this hatchback model will be launched by the company by March 2012.Company is also planning to sell 70% of the total production of this car in the other market. This Mitsubishi Car will surely hit the established auto markets of Europe and Japan along with the growing car markets of India, Brazil, China and others.According to company spokesperson, Mitsubishi Motors is working very hard to increase their yearly manufacturing capacity in India from 12,000 to 1,00,000 and with the launch of this New Mitsubishi Car the position of company will surely rise.
Mitsubishi has many star performers under them.Some of them are Mitsubishi Outlander, Mitsubishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Mitsubishi RVR, Mitsubishi Cedia, Mitsubishi Pajero and Mitsubishi Montero.All of them are hitting domestic auto market in collaboration with Hindustan Motors. This is also increasing the healthy competition between the automakers and also providing customers a wide range of product to choose from.Another automobile giant Nissan have announced that they will collaborate with Mitsubishi Motors in order to gain technical expertise and creative ideas. They are also planning to bring one-ton pickup and new car models in the near future.
