Mlm Prospecting: Never Deal With Objections Again

MLM prospecting is so frustrating

MLM prospecting is so frustrating. There is always some type of objection hiding around the corner or just being told NO from your network marketing prospect. Even though MLM prospecting is a big category, I think it is safe to say that all Network Marketers having a problem with objections. These objections can take many forms such as:

I thought that was pyramid scheme..

MLM businesses dont work

I dont do sales

Im too busy

I dont know enough people

I dont have the money to get started right now

I could go on but I will spare you, after all I am sure you have heard all of these and many more. I know that I sure heard them when I first started in Network Marketing and it seems that some things never change.

I lucked out and came across a good deader in the network marketing industry and what he told me changed the way I prospect for my MLM business. Here it is:

Network Marketers Get Objections Because They Provoke Them

I know that may not seem like the silver bullet you where looking for but if you take a minute to think about it and understand it you will drastically improve your MLM prospecting results.

It has to do with the Mindset of how you are doing your MLM prospecting. It also has a lot to do with the psychology of the human mind.

In simple terms, this means that giving clues to your prospect that you have doubts about your product, MLM business or yourself as a MLM leader. Your prospects are going to pick up on these hints and start coming up with objects because no one wants to follow someone that does not have the self confidence to be a true leader.

So how do you stop being afraid when talking to your prospects?

You need to make a list of what you are looking for in a prospect. So what should you be looking for?

Someone with a GREAT Attitude

Someone that will be a true leader

A people person

Someone that can set and reach goals

Someone that is ambitious

This is by no means an all inclusive list. When writing your list ask yourself What is my ideal prospect going to be like?

The qualities that you put on your list should be things that you look for in a MLM prospect. Dont skip over this step thinking that you can just wing it as you go. You have to be prepared. That preparedness will show when you are talking to your prospect. Once you believe you are a leader so will your network marketing prospects, this will also help you build your relationship which is after all what your business is all about.
