Ever since mobile phones have been launched there have been apprehensions coupled

with serious appreciations of this wonderful concept of communication. Though there seem to be more obvious benefits of this device, ranging from communication, to entertainment and to the ability of taking pictures (that is just to name a few!), but there have been latent fears regarding the possible health side effects of usage of Mobile phones. At first the mobile phones were out rightly disapproved for causing serious health threats, but seeing immense benefits of the device there was gradual acceptability of it. Now people indulge in the latest mobile phones; always looking for the benefits that it has in store for them. In fact all the mobile phone manufacturing companies are churning out new mobile phones with innovative features at an immense rate and there is vast acceptability of the same as well. For that matter people wait in anticipation for launch of any new phone in the market.

However there has always been an underlying fear about the subtle health impact that the mobile phones can have on people. We all know that they lead to mild headaches, blackout and dizziness with increased fatigue that the users might experience. However, critics counter this by saying that these symptoms occur only after much extended usage of the cell phones, which usually does not happen on a regular basis. But what is more serious is the study that was conducted by scientists in Finland which advocates that mobile phones users are exposed to low emissions of radiations which can lead to alterations in the brain cell.

This kind of exposure to the brain is considered harmful to the blood-brain barrier which is equivalent to a safety valve in the brain; that is that hinders the entry of harmful substance in blood from the brain. This kind of incessant exposure to radiation caused cells in the blood vessel valves to shrink allowing the harmful molecules to pass into the brain. However; the only thing that can comfort the users is the fact that these studies have not been actually performed on human beings as yet, rather these are based on the studies done on animals in the laboratory. There are apprehensions about the usage of the latest mobile phones; however people are enjoying the features and immense possible options that are made available to them with these latest phones. However one word of caution while using the mobile phones is that people should exercise caution while talking on the phone while driving. The impact can be disastrous if mishaps occur and it can be even more serious than the latent impacts that the machines are supposedly having on human beings!
