Mobile phones with long battery life
Battery life is one of the most important factors to consider when buying a cell phone
. No matter how flashy a handset may be and how many cool features it may offer, it won't be worth much if the battery runs out too quickly. Fortunately, CNET performs talk time battery life tests on every handset that we review. Though manufacturers provide promises on battery life, real-world testing is a much better guideline. Here is a selection of recent cell phones that lasted more than seven hours in CNET's talk time tests.

The good: The HTC Legend boasts a beautiful design with an AMOLED touch screen. The Android 2.1 smartphone adds a faster processor, more RAM and a camera flash. HTC Sense features new and useful enhancements.

The bottom line: With its design improvements and feature enhancements, the HTC Legend is a worthy upgrade from the Hero and one of the most solid and well-built Android phones we've seen in its class. We can only hope that a North American version is released soon.
Motorola Droid X (Verizon Wireless)
The good: The Motorola Droid X boasts a gorgeous 4.3-inch touch screen and great multimedia features like an 8-megapixel camera with HD video capture, HDMI output and DLNA support. The smartphone can also be used as a mobile hot spot.
The bad: Camera is a bit sluggish.
Motoblur software is a lot better but still not quite as refined as HTC Sense. Lacks a front-facing camera.
dell laptop battery replacementThe bottom line: The Motorola Droid X makes another fine addition to Verizon's Android family, bringing with it a rich multimedia experience and more connectivity features.
LG Fathom (Verizon Wireless)
The good: The LG Fathom is solidly constructed with a bright display and a roomy QWERTY keyboard. It comes with Windows Mobile 6.5.3, and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It supports CDMA and GSM networks for use worldwide.
The bad: The LG Fathom's resistive touch-screen display is not as intuitive as we would like. We also noticed slight sluggishness with its accelerometer and image refresh rate. The LG Fathom's bulky exterior might not be for everyone.
The bottom line: The LG Fathom is a well-built Windows Mobile phone with plenty of features, but its occasional lapse in performance can be annoying.
