More Job Vacancies For Umbrella Company Contractors

that the jobs market is improving and the number of vacancies is on the up.

Despite 25% of public sector workers thinking they will lose their jobs, a spokesperson from jobsite confirmed that there has been an increase in vacancies across a number of different industries. This is good news for those that are facing redundancy, but it is also good news for contractors that depend on a continuous stream of work available from a number of clients.

Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne has said the UK economy will grow by nearly 2% per year over the next five years. Reassuringly, the OBR has painted a similar picture for employment. It expects the unemployment rate to be 7.9% this year, falling to 6% by the end of this parliament.

Things arent as bad as some commentators predicted. The OBR states that it expects public sector losses to be less that first predicted; being 330,000 instead of 490,000.

Even with cuts within the public sector, there are opportunities for those made redundant to look into contracting and temporary work.
