If we want to have our vision errors rectified in the simplest way, we may choose to receive lasik surgery. The whole healing time is short and our lives will not be affected after the surgery. Comparatively speaking, this procedure will cause no pain and can be finished within very short time. However, we still have a lot of things to do and many tips to follow. For example, we should be patient, for our vision must be completely recovered within certain period of time; we should also follow the advices of our eye doctors if we want to suffer less and get better results.

In most cases, we can leave hospital immediately after the surgery. And some of us can even work and do our routine job the day after the surgery. This is impossible in many other surgeries.

The reason why very short time is needed during the healing process is very simple. Only a small cut is made on our cornea, which can be healed quickly. In the surgery, a cornea flap will be made and laser will be let in to remove those extra or infected tissues only. This made the whole recovery process much simpler and easier.

After the surgery, we should take some rest for better result. Though some of us can still work the day after the surgery, it is a good idea to rest for at least two days. Doing so can minimize the risk of complications and other problems. Some of us may feel uncomfortable, like irritation, itching, etc. But we should never rub our eyes. There are still many other complications that may occur onto us after the surgery. But we should never be worried- most of these symptoms are normal and will disappear within certain period of time. But if the symptom continues, we should ask our eye doctors for help.

Anyway, compilations and other problems can be reduced to its minimum extent if we can follow the advices of eye doctors, before, in and after the surgery. In particular, Post surgery care can really determine the results of this surgery. For example, we should not pressure our eyes, like rubbing; we should not expose our eyes to various sorts of pollutants; we should not do sports, like swimming, etc.
