This is due to the usage of the powerful dual core processor that is clocked at 1 GHz. It will be employing an equally powerful graphics processing unit and this makes the Motorola ATRIX extremely efficient at running the various multi-touch actions like pinch to zoom and so on.

The Motorola ATRIX will be using the Android 2.2 operating system and given the impressive nature of the features, it is expected to get the update to the 2.3 version Gingerbread OS, which was recently released. It will be having no troubles at the running of this new version of Android especially given that this operating system will be helped by the presence of the 1GB of RAM. Apart from kick starting the dual core smartphone era, the Motorola ATRIX will also be one of the first phones to be available with the 1GB of RAM specification. This powerful hardware means that the Motorola ATRIX can easily accommodate 16GB of files internally and also 32GB files by using external memory cards. The phone will be showing no signs of slowing down, which is a normal processing other high-end smart phones that have such large memory capacities.

The Motorola ATRIX to be having a five megapixel camera that will be having the option of being able to record the 1080p videos once it gets the update to the 2.3 version of Android. Currently, it will be coming with the 720p video recording option only. The Motorola ATRIX has been announced for the United Kingdom, although the prices have not been revealed.
