Mti Makes Podiatry Chairs And Visits Trade Shows
Most of the different fields of medicine have some sort of association that organizes annually to meet at a trade show or exposition
. There are various components of the medial industry and you will see representatives from just about every one of those components. Doctors go to receive Continuing Medical Education credits, which boost their credibility and capabilities. Credit and collections agencies go to offer their services, as do manufacturers of medical equipment for their products. One such medical supply manufacturer is MTI who is scheduled to be behind booths at several trade shows this year displaying their selection of supplies similar to their podiatry chairs.
Podiatry chairs are not, however, the only type of chair that MTI makes. In fact, 2010 brings the opportunity to showcase a few of the other types of chairs they manufacture at the following trade shows: the American Academy of Ophthalmology in Chicago, Illinois; the annual meeting of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Chicago, Illinois; the annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology in Boston, Massachusetts; and the annual meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons in Toronto, Canada. Each trade show will feature the applicable type of equipment that MTI manufactures for a specific field of medicine.
Because none of the tradeshows that are listed above have much at all to do with podiatry, there will likely not be a podiatry chair on display. So, for the sake of information, let's do a quick run-down of the best features of one of MTI's podiatry chairs; the 527P Tri Power Programmable Podiatry Chair. The 527P has a 650 lb. weight capacity which is enough to support any patient a doctor is likely to treat. Patients will have an easy time getting onto the chair with its low entry height, and the podiatrist has the ability to lift the chair all the way up to 40 inches with the chair's extended height. An extendable debris tray also comes as part of the chair. Any podiatrist would be well suited to own the 527P.
Unlike the podiatry chairs, one of MTI's items that will be at the expos this year is the instrument table, which will be shown at the AAOMS expo. The table is designed to make the job a bit more convenient for the doctor that uses it by being able to straddle a patient and chair or just sit beside the patient. It is made with quality laminate and frees up floor space in an exam or procedure room. Also on display MTI's trade show booths will be a small selection of their surgery lights, physicians' chairs and mobile cabinets.
Trade shows are an important part of the spread of knowledge and innovation throughout all industries, but especially the medical industry. Any doctor would do well to continue to learn by obtaining credits of Continuing Medical Education and seeing all that is new in their field from these meetings and expos. By offering the medical world to see more than their podiatry chairs, MTI is playing a valuable role in the industry.
