Mtv Africa Music Awards December 2010 At Lagos!!!

MAMA is recently added event on the Nigerian calendar

. It was started in 2008 by MTV Networks Africa to celebrate the most popular music and most talented musicians in the continent of Africa. Although its a newly established music gala but it gas greatly earned fame for it. Now both locals and cheap Lagos flights takers join this event. The event has its roots back to European Music Award that was held in 2006 and 2007 and it awarded African artists. It is the second time in the history that the MTV Awards are holding in Nigeria. Te event was first hold at Abuja, Lagos in 2008, but was moved to Kenya in 2009, the year 2010 brought it back to Nigeria and it is holding at Expo Hall, in Lagos on Saturday 11th December. It is greatly luring visitors and huge volumes of visitors are taking Lagos flights to join this mega event. The event is organized in cooperation with Bharti Airtel. This is a telecommunication company that is going to have two fold benefits by sponsoring this event. It will be promoting African artists and the event will be promoting the company. This sponsorship will enable attendees taken cheap flights to lagos attend a stunning, live music event and global television spectacular, featuring performances from contemporary African, international music giants and hosted by a major music celebrity. It is estimated that hundreds of artists from the whole continent are preparing to participate in this event. The awards are given under 12 categories. These categories are; Best Male, Best Group, Artiste of the Year, Best Female, Best Video, Best Lusophone Act, Best Anglophone Act, Best Francophone Act, Song of the Year, Brand New Act, Best International Act and MAMA Legend.

This is the event that every one can attend. If you fail to catch cheap flights to Lagos you may attend it by staying at your home as it will be telecasted live on TV. Because the event is sponsored by Airtel it is estimated that it will be a great event with unique brand exposure across multiple platforms including live event activations across the continent.
