Multi-Level Marketing MLM And The Customer Advantage

Multi-Level Marketing MLM And The Customer Advantage

I will get into The Customer Advantage in a bit but first I was going to rant a while. The first thought when Multi Level Marketing comes up is Amway. I have heard things like Scamway and there's the right way ,the wrong way and the Amway. Pyramid scheme is another good one, having been taken in by pyramid schemes in the earl 1980's, it is anything but. And if you mention the word Amway in a room people scatter like cartoon mice from a cartoon cat. Which is really funny since Amway is claiming to have over 7 billion dollars in annual sales, and I don't doubt it since back in 93 they were boasting 3 billion. I took a shot at Amway back in the mid 1980's and I paid around $200.00 to fall flat on my face. Of course I knew better than anybody else and instead of selling "the program" I tried to prove retailing the products could work. I was a kid and just did not have what it took to convince somebody that you make money without selling the products, because to be honest it confused me. Plus at the time my friends were all in their early 20's and nobody wanted to hear about laying out $200 to be part of anything, so for me it ended.

Of course there are other famous Multi-Level Marketing companies that most people don't view as such. Avon, Mary K, and Pampered Chef to name a few. But just guessing they all have some type of tiered program that is similar to most MLM companies. A few searches reveals that Avon claims a $10 startup cost, which seems unlikely to give you enough to really get started. Pampered Chef is around $150 and this seems feasible because it would give just enough products and literature to jump in. I can't find a definitive answer for starting with Amway but it seems they haven't changed their program much so in the end the costs can be high. Trust me I am not bad mouthing any of these companies as they have all cranked out their share of 6 and 7 figure earners. And you can bet that most of the hundreds if not thousands of MLM business around today have looked to these companies to see what works. It takes money to make money right? Not being familiar with anything but Amway and all I know is you make money by having your down line consume products and the money flows upwards.

So keeping the Amway community spirit in mind. What I mean by that is as people join the community and "consume". And people above them in the tiered program benefit. So the main goal is to get people under you, or in your down line, so you make money too. I will not sit here and try to tell you that if you look at The Customer Advantage tired program it would look a whole lot different. BUT there is a huge difference The Customer Advantage program is FREE to join and you don't have to get anyone to join to reap rewards. John Milanoski's vision is simple, not easy, but simple. Have local businesses offer 50% or greater discounts on items. The win for them, their chance to gain customers by getting them in to their establishment. The win for members is they get a great deal from a local business. The win for everybody is the vote with their dollars to keep their community out of the hands of corporate America and thriving. A bold vision yes and doable with the efforts of like minded people. Plus the added benefit of being able to build your group and make residual income for your efforts. That's a lot of wins.
